About the job:
The Sales Executive will be working directly with the CEO to drive sales and business
intelligence. Your responsibility will be to engage with our customers, qualify potential leads,
and work with the CEO to plan the sales cycle. Outside of sales the role requires the
researching, reporting and providing key insights for the business strategy. You will work to
quantify the value of the drone to various stakeholders in industry. You will create
comparison reports to existing competing methods. You will also report on industry
standards for inspection procedures (API, EEMUA, ASNT, BV, LR, ABS). A portion of the job will
be travelling (domestically and internationally, observing travel advisories) to customer sites
to observe work and talk directly to different stakeholders. Your work will be used to create
case studies for marketing of the product as well as for making key strategic decisions. The
specific projects the Sales Executive Lead will be performing:

 Answer customer requests through email and performing introductory calls
 Leveraging your existing network and prospecting new clients to drive sales
 Performing stakeholder analysis on customers to map the buying process
 Creating proposals for client engagement
 Generating detailed reports on customer and industry needs
 Providing the technical teams with product insights in terms of market value of
features
 Creating case studies with key performance metrics
 Compiling regulatory codes, standards, and processes
 Participating in strategic decision-making process with managers

Required Skills:
 Reporting (Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Notion, Wiki…)
 Relationship Management (CRM, email, video/conference calling)
 Industrial and technical background knowledge
 Strong Analytical and Numerical skills for research
 Sales skills and Strong oil and gas network

Bonus Skills:
 NDT Industry knowledge base or experience
 UT and/or API inspector certification
 Drone Pilot
 Rope Access technician
 Industrial site safety training and certification
 Engineering background
 Market Study fluency
 Digital graphical communication skills (photoshop, video editing…)

Location:
 Company is based Hamilton, Canada
 Preference for in-person with possible accommodations for remote work
Experience: 4+ years sales development experience in the industrial sector. Special
consideration for those with start-up experience, NDT experience, and O&G experience.
Business consultancy background an asset.
Education: College or University in Commerce, Engineering Management or other relevant
program. Added consideration for MBA applications.
Compensation: Salary + commission + benefits package + employee stock options

 Access to personal transportation
 Valid Passport and willing/able to travel internationally
 Able to work in-person with our team at the facility (NOT REMOTE)
